    I have a GS500f ( V-twin with 500cc) and I use State Farm. I pay about $400 for the year, now my buddy has a R1(inline 4 with 600cc) and pays $127 a month!

I totally get where you are coming from. One thing I really hate about my bike is the fact that the low beam in nearly worthless. I am trying to find some way to correct it.

Ok, so I know that I am not the only one who uses my girlfriend and all my other friends as models. I am a semi-professional fine art photographer on the side.

    Dealing with guilt

Guilt can sometimes be remedied by punishment (a common action and advised or required in many legal and moral codes), by forgiveness (as in transformative justice), or by sincere remorse (as with confession in Catholicism or restorative justice). Guilt can also be remedied through cognition, the understanding that the source of the guilty feelings was illogical or irrelevant. Law does not usually accept the agent’s self-punishment, but some ancient codes did so: in Athens the accused was permitted to propose his or her own remedy, which might in fact be a reward, while the accuser proposed another, and the jury chose between. This forced the accused to effectively bet on his support in the community – as Socrates did when he proposed “room and board in the town hall” as his fate. He lost, and drank hemlock, a poison, as advised by his accuser.

I made the mistake of not using the lock correctly the first few weeks, so my helmet hung very close to the pipe also. Now I know that the metal “D'” ring is what gets locked under the seat in the hook on the bike. That is what my problem was. Hope it helps.

I think that mite be Ben’s girl friend/wife. I am fairly confident she was also in his “Gear” video. Sorry if I am wrong!!

Both my Shift and Teknic jackets have reflective stripes and my Icon boots are reflective on the heels. I do drive around 24-7 with my high beam on. I figure what better way to get attention than to annoy some drivers. But I think the best way to stay safe is build good riding skills. You really need to find some experienced people to ride with they tend to have the most practical advice. And if you are still concerned try Icon Mesh Mil Spec Vest, Scorpion Vision Vest, or Alpinestars Stealth Vest (why call it “stealth” when the point is to be seen?) Wear it when you want and under your jacket or tucked some place when you don’t.

I rode a TW200 in my MSF class. I did not care for it because it was a bit small for me (6’1 and 176 lbs). But the MSF instructor kept telling it was a good little bike. It did corner just great, and in the accident avoidance swerve it was fantastic. And now that I think about it, I would like to tear up a trail on that thing. So I guess I really did like it. Sorry if I am not much help.

If you have a product you are representing be honest and tell us that you like the product and let us ask you questions. Don’t make up some BS story. It is all about respecting your possible customers and not being a $%^& head spammer.

Ok I love my GS500f and let me tell you why

    Loves!

~I can pull up next to a gsx-r and not feel out of place.
~Maintenance, change the oil every 3k miles, lube the chain ever other fill up (300-400 miles) and that is about it.
~Insurance, less than $400 for the year with State Farm
~Two decades of the GS500 so parts are every were and the bike has a track record of excellent quality
~More up right riding position, so you are not riding on your wrists.
~Plenty of power even riding 2 up
~It is totally possible to do wheelies, stoppies and burn-outs if you want to give Jason Briton a run for his money LOL
~light weight so I can fly around corners
    ~58-65 mpg

Things I mite change if I was an engineer for Suzuki (notice I did not say “dis-likes)

~I would love to see it fuel injected, the engine needs to be choked all the way when it is cold out
    ~Liquid cool the engine
~Make more modifications for the bike

It is a great bike and if you have any questions please let me know I would be happy to help

If you are not comfortable in your gear you will not ware it! The best leather jacket with top end CE armor will not help you if you leave it at home because it drives you up the wall. The cheapest jacket in the world that you feel good in, will be better that a t shirt if something bad happens. I really like Icon and Shift both of these guys are committed to comfort and safety and they look just killer cool. Check out Ebay and newenough.com for cheap gear but always go to the local shop to try on the stuff so you get a good fit. Just my thoughts.
