I have noticed that to! Keep her at about 4k and above for the most gang for your buck.
AaronMerlotParticipantYou will love it!
AaronMerlotParticipantYa that was kind weird. Its all good.
I just don’t want my “wife to be” to get jealous.
LOL!“Just before they went into warp, I beamed the whole kit and kaboodle into their engine room, where they’ll be no tribble at all.” — Scotty, explaining how he got rid of the tribbles (The Trouble With Tribbles)
I am so totally a Star Trek super nerd!!!
AaronMerlotParticipantI did exactly what the manual said. But who knows if it was the right thing to do. I just hope the engineers wrote the thing and not the lawyers.
AaronMerlotParticipantCant find the title ? Huge red flag!!! All you have to do is go to the DMV and apply for a lost title(at least in MI). And it has a “few problems” ? Broken blinkers hu? That I am sure means it’s been dropped, carb work means $ and usually more than what you want to spend, fluids do need to be changed every other year. If you are asking I would say, stay away, or at least take someone with you, who it informed about bikes to look. Even then, the title thing makes me very nervous.
AaronMerlotParticipantWhat the %^&*
Thats all I can sayAaronMerlotParticipantLets not forget where the gas is coming from. The less money I can give to Hugo Chavez, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, or any other nut job that has more oil then brains, the better I feel.
AaronMerlotParticipantI lock my helmut to the bike and I always have a backpack with me for my other gear. And I just wear my Shift jacket, that is why all the chicks dig me! heheheh
AaronMerlotParticipantLets go Michigan riders!!
Bay City here!!AaronMerlotParticipantDidn’t drop it but, I really thought the MSF class was going to be easy. Holly $%^& was I wrong. I had to do some practicing the day before the final exam. I am still working on the figure 8. We did have 3 people out of a class of 12 not pass. One guy never showed up after the first day, he had so much trouble with the clutch. He looked and talked like he had been riding HDs all his life(you know the kind of guy I am talking about). Turns out he just wanted to look the part. The old guy (he was in his early 70’s) was scary to be close to, and the worst thing was, he kept telling all of us how good of a pilot he was. No way in HELL would I get in a plain with him or even a car, he was that bad. Then there was the girl who all week long kept telling us how after the exam she was getting her license and then going to pick up her brand new CBR 1000 . Well she did not pass a single test!! I am so happy that she did not pass because she would just help raise my insurance rates!
AaronMerlotParticipantWith “Monster” in the name I think you can safely assume it is going to be a lot to handle for an inexperienced and untrained person. Live today to ride again tomorrow. Please read https://www.bestbeginnermotorcycles.com/forum/forum-topic/609/food-thought
AaronMerlotParticipantMost helmet will not interfere with glasses after you break it in. At least I have had no problems with my Gmax or HJC after I got the pads worked in a bit.
AaronMerlotParticipantI agree with the matching panties. But my GF and I are still learning to ride 2up so we are practicing every night in the parking lot down the street, and I make here dress in full gear. She is not so keen on the knee armor but it makes me feel bit better, and I did buy her the puple flower helmet she wanted.
AaronMerlotParticipantI love my GS500f !! Plenty of power even riding 2 up, and 65 mpg is a huge bonus as well. But just like Shannon it is my first as well, and 2k miles later I don’t have any plans to trade up for some time.
AaronMerlotParticipantThat is the same way I was shown how to lift a bike up in my MSF class. I hope I never need to use that info
