ParticipantNot dealt with them specifically. The shipment time may vary depending o n their stock. However I do find it odd that they have no business number listed. Did they send you a US postal confirmation number?

ParticipantDon’t waste money on the “plastic kickstand pucks” as the guy from you tube says…go to Lowes or Home depot or what have ya and grab some $.50 receptical plates…. theres gonna be a time or two you are in a hurry and forget to pick it up.

ParticipantOn my 900 I use all 4 and never cover the lever unless I am in town. On the highway you will likely need very little use of them unless you get caught in rush hour traffic, in which case I will cover. The Vulcan 900 though has a hard braking system. Not as touchy as some would like it to be. The bike stops more like a car then most motorcycles. Rear braking even in highway conditions is definitely gonna be needed.

ParticipantActually it can do just as much harm as it can good to. It can trap dirt and debris….. rain and other substances under it. Doing the exact thing your supposed to be protecting it from… why do thing car bra’s have pretty much gone by the way side.

Participantyea depends on the bike and the shop. If its “vintage” enough or considered collectors you can find specialty shops for the parts. Will pay out the arse for it but you can likely find ’em. 10 years is usually the max fall back…unless the model has been around forever in which you might be able to interchange the upgraded version. At which point you need to ask a mechanic knowledgeable enough to know..

Participantavailability maybe…..without seeing overly tech charts they seem to have the same characteristics.

Participantyea I easily have $10,000 worth of tools in my box at the shop…and thats under estimating… plus my box is $4500 . So yea, unless you use them professionally it makes no sense to dump that much into it. Cobalt (Lowe’s brand I think) is actually a step up from Craftsman.
