I got this one its not a 3/4 but fits great and was $100 LESS than that one and I think the cordura may be a heavier duty type also. I got the yellow like that one you posted for visibility also.

I think the OLDER 620 Ducati could make the list

To match the larger motor’s needs and up the number of horses that live at the top end of the rev range, the cams now feature more aggressive lift and duration. This all adds up to a claimed 60 horses at 9,500 rpm and 53.3 foot-pounds of torque at 6,750 rpm. This is a solid improvement over the old motor’s figures of 51 horsepower and 50 foot-pounds. And, in addition to the increase in outright power figures, the new motor now revs 1,500 rpm higher than its predecessor, with a rev limit set at 9,500 rpm.

I believe that 51-60 HP is still manageable.

I stayed away from those because of hard part availability and warranty and general just not as well made/put together as other bikes that have been around for a while and have a good dealer support network

thats the Bike I really wanted as I honestly dont plan of getting anything larger than a 500 even if I upgrade..I figured a ninja 500 or GS500(E or F) would have fit the bill nicely..just nothing in my price range(CHEAP :) ) opened up this summer. Im still not sure I will even upgrade from the 250 :) I want a great MPG bike :) !

I got mine starting Sept 7th/9th and then the 14th/16th(15 hours total) im debating taking the Ninja (i should have it back by then) or just using one of theirs in case i drop it lol…..im leaning to theirs :)

The E is no longer made from what I read but was the model with no Farrings(naked bike) the F is the same bike with Farrings and a sportsbike look. I also read that the handle bars on the F amy be a bit lower than the E also but I cant say that for certain its just something I read when I was looking at the bikes.

Yea, i liked the 2nd pair myself..bad thing is they only had my size in the red and blue and i was thinking with a yellow jacket they may look cheesy :), I can luckily velcro the sleeve openings tight so no air can get in :). I cant say enough GOOD things about that jacket for the price..I was leery at first and its a great jacket.

I got a Fieldsheer Jacket with armor(and it looks and feels/fits awesome BTW) for $46 and I can get armored pants for around $50 so they are even affordable IF you look. Jacket and pants around $100, Helmet was $60 and gloves $20(leather with the molded knuckle armor and extra padding in the “skid zones”. So im pretty much ready to go for under $200 for everything(I already have about a trillion pairs of work boots that will work just fine for over the ankle boots) I need to ride and its not junk this is decent stuff just on closeout most of it.

    Jacket:$47

this is the Jacket I got(just got it today) its armored in the shoulders, forearms+elbows, and back VERY nice for the $$$
Jacket:(i got the yellow for visibility)

    Pants: $50-55
Tour master Pants (armor/good price and ive seen these as low as $45 but they were the wrong size)

    http://www.metricbikes-superstore.com/tour-master-jean-pants-black-p-14210.html

    Helmet: $54
DOT/Snell approved helmet: Excellent value comes with helmet bag and a extra smoked visor with its own soft protector

    http://www.bikebandit.com/product/7644

    Gloves: $20-28

    Some cheap protective gloves

    OR

thats $180 for everything..not “cheap” but not horrible to be fully protected either..a LOT of people pay more than that just on ONE piece(normally the helmet) alone let alone get ALL your gear for that much..and like I said its not junk Fieldsheer is pretty good as is Tour Master the helmet is DOT/Snell so thats just a example of how you can get gear of decent quality for “cheap”

IMO yes, a dealer had 2 2007’s down here in PA one was $4700 the other was $5200(but only had 200 miles on it) both looked brand new. So to be honest id pass on that price…unless it also is pretty much just a leftover and not been driven..I guess if it is new its not horrible but its not great either..but Bikes are a hot ticket right now…I keep getting told that for right now that the $1100 I spent on a 1999 Ninja 250 was a good deal..IMO I think its still “high” for a bike thats basically 10 years old, but ive been told thats a good deal…so maybe in not the one to ask :) (oh BTW the GS500F that was $4700 has 2500 miles on it and was a 07).

here is a 06 for a example at the same place that they still have
