Participantif you can try what ever you order on..I still think people want(think) that motorcycle jackets ahould fit like a street/style jacket(loose) and it should NOT..it should fit realtively snug(but not constricting but it SHOULD be a bit snug) so that IF a crash happens its not lose so the armor shifts around leaving parts that should be armored exposed.. I bought a jacket that in the reviews said buy a size up(most that said that in reviews made it seem as if they wanted extra room for a sweater/sweatshirt lol) when i wnet to buy mine I asked the customer service guy and he told me what to get i ordered it ad it fit like a motorcycle jacket should..a bit snug, not loose and perfect!

ParticipantI have this one. Cant believe it was so cheap but is still a GREAT jacket. Armored all around(CE) waterproof, removable liner, vents, whats not to like at the price. Ive worn it from high 80’s to mid 50’s. Some of the reviews said it runs small but I bought my regular size and it fit perfect. I think the guys/girls that bought it big or thought it ran small wanted it to fit like a “regular/style/street” jacket but thats NOT what you want in a bike jacket you want it kinda snug so that it does NOT shift all over if you get into a accident.

ParticipantIm the same way on the Cruisers..I like the looks of them fine..But the peg position I just cant get used to. Just does not seem….well…”right” to me. I also like the seating/peg/leg position on the standards(more upright feet under you not out in front of you like sitting in a recliner). I like the Cruiser look though im wondering if down the road I can get used to the Cruiser sitting/peg position….Id love to have some nice HARD LOCKABLE saddle bags but you really cant get a decent(inexpensive) set on a sport/standard cause of the frame(or lack there of) to mount them on so your stuck with a tail or soft saddlebags(i dont like tank bags) or a backpack if your like me and need to carry work/lunch related stuff.

ParticipantA lot depends on the kind of bike you have.. On Sports type bikes the soft bags seem to be one of the dew options in a REALISTIC price. If you have a cruiser I have seen hard locking saddle bags for under $120(possibly around $100) but they need a frame to be mounted on that you dont have with a sports bike.

ParticipantMost of even the older 600’s are just STILL too much HP many are STILL near 100HP out of the box and IMO thats too much..there are a few exceptions like say the older Ducati 620’s they were under 75hp I believe and I think in the 60’s…but most of the “other” even older 600’s were still near 100(or over) HP.

Participantlol agreed, thats how mine looked..helmet in a helmet bag with the extra smoked visor beside it in its own bag..

ParticipantThe BRC is for people to learn to ride. The people in the BRC the assume have never been on a bike in their lives and teach it as such. I thought it was fine. Got the basics, got to work on low speed maneuvering and stopping drills. The one you seem to be talking about for people with experience to get even better is the ERC..they said to us to take that after the BRC to do just what you said..get better at riding if you know the basics I dont really think its the MSF course fault that you took the WRONG course..thats on you. you wanted/needed the ERC..they told us take it as soon as you can told us to take it right after the BRC to get more experience(not a year later). They had people in the other group on permitts FAIL the course so(BRC) it needs to stay the same..if your experienced you need the ERC…sorry your out $275 its FREE here in PA..both courses cost $0.00

Participanton the ninja(before 08) just put it on level ground on the center stand
. On the 08/09+ Id assume you just have to try to get it as straight as possible to get a right look
. and NO you cant do it on the center stand..I did that the other day and I was like WTF I jut did a oil change and its almost at the bottom of the sight glass already? then I realized I was on the side stand instead of the center stand..used center stand and it was right where it should be
..I LOVE center stands!

Participantwish i could but between work, football practices and games and just doing other stuff not a lot of time has been left for riding unfortunately.
