RidleytheRedParticipant
No kidding. I really hate SUV moms. >.<
RidleytheRedParticipantElwood wins, FL is still in the Jurassic period with their bugs, but I’ve seen bigger in AK.

RidleytheRedParticipantI don’t know about a virago, but I started with my XJ650 Maxim and she’s been a good bike. I’m not saying that’s what you should start with, but I’ve become rather fond of Yamaha.
RidleytheRedParticipantWell, I’m…err was, used to having nice hair. But, I’m almost 30 now and it’s packing it’s bags and getting the hell outta dodge so to speak. I went to the barber and got it chopped. Only 2 inches at the longest now. I haven’t had it this short since the navy. o_o
RidleytheRedParticipantMe too, really wish I knew at least some basics of motorcycle engines so I could fix little stuff like that.
RidleytheRedParticipantPretty sharp looking bike.
RidleytheRedParticipantI got it back this weekend. After waiting a couple weeks for the mechanic to actually get to mine, he discovered is was the vaccum hose for the petcock, got it replaced and clamped this time and she ran fine again. I went riding all after noon yesterday and the sunrise this morning was outstanding.
RidleytheRedParticipantNo Idea, I’m a complete dummy with engines. My mechanic said it might just be a clog somewhere. It’s not fuel injected or anything fancy due to its age, so I don’t know about it being a pinched fuel line or something like that. I’ll just have to wait and see.
RidleytheRedParticipantI’ve got a Scorpion Stinger perforated leather jacket. So far it’s been great, fits like a glove and is flexible in all the right places, my only grief with it is the neck. I wish that were a bit more adjustable as it can ride up a bit, but it’s not bad.
RidleytheRedParticipantThat looks even better than my ’82 Maxim. They stopped manufacturing parts for mine so they’re hard to come by, even with after market parts dealers. I wouldn’t mind a new V-Max though.
RidleytheRedParticipantI do the same, it’s amazing how much space open up behind you when the cagers get paranoid.
RidleytheRedParticipantBeautiful bike there Munch. I wish I could afford something newer.
RidleytheRedParticipantYou can take off the heated grips and put the old ones back on? *shrug* It’s getting warmer anyway, so yeah, not much point now.
RidleytheRedParticipantGot a Shoei?
