After about a 10 or 11 year absence, I am finally back in the saddle. I bought what I could find with my limited funds, not exactly what I wanted, however it runs well and is in great shape for its age.
I could not determine if this site permits UBB code, so here are direct links to images. I am new to this site, so, please accept my apologies for not having the images instead of simply links.

Again, thank you for helping me out with the pictures.
As to tassles, they were on a bike that I missed by 10 minutes
However, they were on the bike I wanted, a very nice Kawasaki Vulcan with full sized windshield and chrome everything. Personally, I think chrome is nice, but much more important is the condition of the bike and how well it rides.

April 17, 2009 at 8:54 pm #17836RidleytheRedParticipantThat looks even better than my ’82 Maxim. They stopped manufacturing parts for mine so they’re hard to come by, even with after market parts dealers. I wouldn’t mind a new V-Max though.
