Google crampbuster….simplistically it is a “lever” or “paddle” that attaches to your throttle grip to allow you to rest your wrist on it so you don’t have to keep a constant grip on it.

LOL… my cage definitely get neglected during sunny days. Last summer i had to near fumigate the Monte due to ants setting up shop underneath and thinking the car was part of their home. Goo gone works wonders for the tacky film left behind…. that or a blow drier and some gentle rubbing.

Just keep up the good work Ben and Mega. Unfortunately there is always opportunists out there other wise known as parasites that see a good thing that’s getting a lot of hits and try to hijack it. Automated software and “permissions” help but the community will give you better real time coverage and can get past the so-called mispelling of words that can by pass the measures you take.
My call is to all BBM members to take the time to look things over as much as you can. Even if it’s not on a page that you have posted on before or even care about the particular bike, skill being discussed. Ben has helped a lot of new riders such as myself by keeping them informed and off dangerous bikes for their first rides. Why not return the favor by helping him and Mega by browsing as much as you can and messaging either one if not both as to where the offending post is. I know I have done this and likely others have to.
    Give ’em hell!

    +1
I myself with others look at this site on a daily basis. For those of us that do we can help by browsing through all the pages when we sign on to help Ben and the mods by messaging them when we spot it.
There are measures that they are taking but with all things nothing is “fool proof”, people just have a way of making better fools.
So as a genuine member of the BBM community please try and help the moderators find these types of posts so they can quickly be “handled”.
Like any search party the more eyes you have the better the coverage and with a community that cares. We can help the moderators and eventually maybe even limit to what makes it on. If nothing else …how long its on.

Don’t have to worry about it here where I live. All the lights are timed. No weight pads, no induction loops. There are a couple of older lights outside of town that use weight, but LEO tells you that if it goes twice for everyone else and not you, you can legally run it.

that’s definitely a better place to go for manufacturer specific recalls. It will also cover other aspects like safety recalls and general. The one I posted was not meant to be an end all but just a good place to start to give a blanket coverage.

ROFLMAO…ok the sarcastic arse in me needs to point this out….
“Would you post this?”, “Someone on the Rebel boards posted this on the forum. I dont think I would have:” ….but yet …. you did here!

It’s obvious this guy has issues. 1) feeling the need to be validated about his sexuality by a cyber community, through which probly none that have ever met him 2) Obviously he is looking to start a fire that will turn into a barn burner, either he knows this and waiting excitedly for the sparks to fly, or just that ….. slow…and not knowing the Pandora’s box he’s opening, in which case I wonder how he got a MC license or permit.

Heh…”earnest” what a bogus concept people got sold on for house buying. Sorry buying a home and giving money thats not in the sale price is not smart IMHO. Last house I backed out of the seller tried to ask for “earnest ” money. I flat told him if he has others willing to pay it and buy the house on top of it to go ahead. Needless to say the Property is still up for sale and this is a year ago. I backed out after seeing the way the housing market was headed to. The seller actually had the nerve to say He wanted the $$ for “earnest” for just that occasion. …. sooo what if I had given it to him I was out that money… yea I am not so foolish with my hard labored for dollars. I am in the deal for the price tag, any additional anything is on your own generosity and because you are needing to get rid of the property, be it bike, home or whatever.

“What was the deposit for if he felt he could back out and get the money back? “
I know here locally most persons will accept a temporary deposit as a sign of genuine interest. Also as a means to have the seller hold off other potential buyers temporarily so you can: A)Make up your mind B) Make sure the vehicle is sound and C) get a chance to get any private loans finalized.
Most of the times its a “gentleman’s agreement” (yes some people feel that your word is worth something) that you will get the “deposit” back should you change your mind. However if you purchase it then he/she already has something tangible in their hand until all things are agreed upon. If you feel the “gentlemen’s agreement” isn’t a comfortable avenue then negotiate something that satisfies both your and their interests. Nothing sucks worse then finding that perfect thing just to have the seller let someone walk away with it. Now you got the loan, time wasted in paper work and with some banks the onset of trying to get the paper work to change with the next new perfect thing. Praying that the values, percentages etc will be the same.
