I think cruisers are more passenger friendly. Many sport bikes have tiny passenger seats; one review of my hubby’s bike said ‘the throne is small for the queen’.

My mom has been the best, surprisingly enough. Just once or twice she’s mentioned she doesnt’ LOVE the thought of me on a bike and left it at that. Other people go pale every time they see it in the garage.
Secretly, I think kthey’re just jealous….

There’s a ton of smaller displacement cruiser bikes out there. Do you have a particular brand you’re fond of?

I can’t flat foot on my bike, but I certanly have enough contact with the ground to be confident and be able to crab walk it back and forth.

That is a useful link, and it ends the speculation about the Hyosung, for me at least. Such a shame, because I think they’re great looking bikes.
