So, I get passed today by a guy on a CBR 919. He had this interesting positioning on the bike. He had both of his heals resting on the pegs. His left leg was turned toe outward. At first I thought that he was just trying to get some air flow to his boys but after I got back up beside him I noticed his feet and realized that it was so he would not be resting it on the shifter. He also didn’t have a rear brake lever on the right side. The honda website looks like the 919 has a brake lever. Wonder if he had it removed because it was in the way. Oh yeah, only wearing a helmet.

Rear brakes are for losers. Didn’t you get the memo?

from what i’ve heard, toes/balls of the feet on the pegs… keeping back of feet against the bike…. this helps you when you grip the tank with your knees as you decelerate…

maybe he was just a cruiser rider at heart?

as for no rear brake lever, he may have a system that applies front and back brakes at the same time… but i’m just speculating on that one

ha ha ha as long as i know, it is not the case..he was too busy focusing on the other guy that he did not notice it.. did not you follow him and see how he handles the cb919?
