I think most sport bike mirrors are just set up for the rider being in a full tuck position. I know for me, the mirrors are set up perfectly when i’m riding on the highway and tucked in. On the street when I’m more casual and not so tucked, I have to do some shifting to check the mirrors.

I just fold my change clothes in my coretech travel bag and change at work in the locker/shower/bathroom. So for me, any rider pants will do as long as they’re comfortable, ventilated, armored, and padded.

What’s being recalled? the 08 250s or the 08 500s? Got a link or something about it? I haven’t heard of any issues from one of my coworker buddies (08 250 ninja), but it’d be good to let him know.

Look for last years fashions. Ben’s totally right on that. I picked up a really comfortable, fully armored $300 fieldsheer leather for $200 bucks out the door from a local store only because it was “out of fashion”. Man shopping for gear (whether window shopping or actually buying) is like crack cocaine…

There’s quite a bit of reviews of different bikes on this site with comments on the reviews. I’d probably start off reading those. Depending on your experience level, the general consensus is to start off on a 250cc bike. Also, what kind of riding you plan on doing? mostly commute/street or commute/street with some off-road?
