JimParticipant
I’m planning on taking my Ninja 250 from Utah to Yellowstone (about 300-400 miles) next summer and touring Jackson Hole and Yellowstone with it for a week. Really looking forward to it.
JimParticipantSorry about the damage to your duc, I am glad you’re OK.
JimParticipantI bought these helmet speaker for my ipod, they go under the padding of your helmet, You don’t even know they are there. They jack is under the lip of the back padding, just put my ipod in my jacket pocket and plug the cable into the jack.
The volume isn’t very loud, but I can hear my ipod at full speed ok, you can buy louder ones for more money.
JimParticipantHope he bothers to drop the $500 – $600 for helmet and gear, he might need it.
JimParticipantVery nice and congrats!
JimParticipantNice DYI project! Looks like perfect size for a couple small bags of groceries too.
JimParticipantThe 250R is a great all round bike for a beginner, It can handle anything you throw at it. Don’t believe that “you need a bigger bike to run away from danger” line of crap. If you need to run away from danger it is probably too late anyway.
JimParticipantWOW 1400 miles on the duc already, you’ve been riding honky alot, must be taking the lonnnngggg way home. I would be too if she was mine.
JimParticipantThanks, something to think about doing someday.
JimParticipantWhat is the sprocket adjustment if I may ask, and what does it do for performance on your bike.
JimParticipantI get around 62 MPG on my 2006 Ninja 250. So your does sound a little low.
JimParticipantGreat info Megaspaz…thanks for posting this.
JimParticipantWow that is different. Looks cool in an alien sort of way. Have fun on it and be safe.
JimParticipantI bought a big bike lock from Walmart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5750641 loop it through the arms of my jacket and through the body of my bike and drape my jacket over my seat.
JimParticipantPunch them in the throat….and then go out and buy a 250 and run over their toes.
Ok Ben who is the Bikes n Babes hottie in the ad
