ShannonGParticipant
“dress up like pirates on the weekend?”
You just make milk come out my nose!ShannonGParticipant1986 seems pretty vintage for a motorcycle. Have you looked in parts availabililty?
Buying on ebay, I would be concerned about shipping costs, and not being able to see the bike in person before you buy.ShannonGParticipantI dropped it today. No damage. Hopefully that will serve as my reminder to pay attention!
ShannonGParticipantMy province is three times the size of your massive state. But probably has 10% of the population.
ShannonGParticipantHere I am coming home from my first ride!
ShannonGParticipantWhatever you pick a lowering link can be put in the rear suspension to bring the seat down.
ShannonGParticipantSticker price on my 2008 bike was $6799. I got it for $5800. All I asked was ‘what’s your best price?’
I had a connection through my sister but it seems like the sticker price is not the last price, if that makes any sense.May 16, 2008 at 8:19 pm in reply to: Been studying before I take the course after I get a full time job after College. #6381ShannonGParticipantWow – someone who at 22 knows what they want to do with their life. Impressive!
ShannonGParticipantI second the bike reviews. And welcome!
ShannonGParticipantI spent $600 to outfit myself in gear, and that was with me already owning boots and gettng a deep dish discount from the store I bought the bike from. That being said, I am as safe as one can possibly be riding a bike by having the proper gear.
And I look freaking fantastic!Armored nylon is way cheaper than leather clothing, although I can’t speak to abrasion resistance comparisons.
ShannonGParticipantI did it! Woo Hoo! That’s my husband’s new bike. It is very sexy, yes?
ShannonGParticipantI suck at this, but I did manage to get the red X up….
ShannonGParticipantHi!
ShannonGParticipantI’m only 5’5″, but I am very comfortable with both the seat height and the weight of the gs500f. I don’t think the carberation will be an issue for me since I will be a fair weather rider.
ShannonGParticipantI have already learned that if it won’t go into 1st gear, you gotta move it forward a bit!
