Buying New From A Dealer

How much leeway to dealers have? I’m looking to purchase a DR200 tomorrow, and don’t want to overpay. They’ve got their sticker price plus crate charges (along with all the DMV stuff). I’ve never paid sticker price on a car…is it the same for motorcycles?

    Thanks for the help.

Sticker price on my 2008 bike was $6799. I got it for $5800. All I asked was ‘what’s your best price?’
I had a connection through my sister but it seems like the sticker price is not the last price, if that makes any sense.

Id say the above question is great- but be aware that many dealers dont discount- you may ask if you can get something on gear or service- I know wth the gas prices etc that sales are amazing so they almost dont need to on many of the nicer brands- harley mostly doesnt, ditto bmw, triumph
