I love the zx-6r love love love it although the price tag is a bit heavy for new. I would want to get used, either that or a zzr-600 used. I love my 250 but when I upgrade its going to be one of those bikes.

the hardest thing for me to learn which I’m still perfecting is learning proper gear shifting. For example when downshifting I learned the hard way that its not a good idea to downshift from 5th directly to 1st if i’m not coming to a complete stop, that I can downshift to the next gear provided I’m going slow enough and just roll onto the throttle. I realized I was doing something wrong when one day I go to downshift and my bike super -revs and my bike tire starts to skid..yeah I about crapped myself then and needless to say I haven’t done that again. Also I’ve learned to trust my bike, not when I’m leaning but when I’m making a slow right hand turn. I have a tendency to hold on to the clutch and let off the throttle a bit until I clear my turn..but everything is a work in progress.

yeah me too, I think the only thing I had slight trouble with was the clutch/shift/throttle concept. Other then that everything has been very simple.

yeah thats a good idea. My BF wants an 08 but I told him he wont be finding one anytime soon unless its used. We’ll probably put a deposit on the 09′

    how’s the riding going btw?

Yes in PA the MSF class is FREE!!! Oh don’t bother getting a cheap helmet either you’ll regret it if you do get into an accident. Take the hit now and get something that’s been tested, it maybe pricier but you will not regret it.
