Checked the fuel selector setting and it was in on postition. I did not open gas cap at the time of failure though. I washed the bike after the last time I rode it, I couldn’t have got water somewhere it wasn’t suppose to be I hope. I mean it rains and things get wet so I don’t think that would have anything to do with it right?

Yeah, I wish I had a smaller tent, my current one is not huge but for riding I could use a smaller one I’m sure. I’ll check out those Rok Straps, thanks!

Just wanted to say hi and that it’s awesome you are hooked on biking! Uh, is this Brute thing a Canadian maker or something? I couldn’t really pull anything up on it and I’ve never heard of it and I’m blocked from a lot of stuff because I am at work. I’m new at biking myself though. Someone on here will probably know.

I have definitely opted to take the cage over the moto because I didn’t feel I would enjoy my ride due to being spooked. Better to take a break than force myself to ride and not enjoy it. I know my brother does the same thing. He’s had quite a few scares over the last couple of weeks, fishtailing due to slamming on breaks on the highway for one situation or another and a pipe falling off a truck and heading straight for him, that shit will scare you, and it should. I wasn’t on my moto but a front wheel fell off an on coming SUV and headed straight for me, that spooked me enough for a couple of days that I didn’t ride my moto and I wasn’t even on my moto at the time of the incident! So, take a break, nothing to be ashamed of.

All I see now are HAZARDS, EVERYWHERE.

OH and my husband doesn’t ride because in college he crashed, got real bad road rash and when he took it out after that he was scared all the time so he didn’t enjoy it anymore and he got rid of his bike and he has no desire to ride a motorcycle.

    So, there you go.

Oh shit! Good thing you investigated! Unfortunately you were dealing with a shyster. At least you know not to go back and you can tell others too.

I will take a look at the America and Speedmaster also when I go to the demo, I looked on line and compared them to the Bonnie and I still am attracted to the looks of the Bonnie but the America might be an option. Thanks for the suggestion!

I did not think of putting a different seat on it so, cool, I will think about that now. Thanks for the links, I will take a gander for sure!

Ok, I will hold off on my judgement until I ride it. I definitely plan on having a great time at the DEMO, I’ve been looking forward to it! Thanks!

I’m 5′ 7″, that’s probably more on the average side than tall but I know a lot of gals that are shorter than me and not too many that are taller. My hubby is only an inch and a half taller than me so he says I’m tall for a girl. Hee hee.

Yes, I agree, I should test ride and then see how I feel. I also agree that I am not ready to upgrade. I just like to have something to look forward to. We do not have a ROAR kind of place in my area, but I like the idea, they have some cool looking bikes.

I thought I would really like the Scrambler but like you said, the exhaust system is in the way, that’s why my foot didn’t touch the floor. I think it would get a little hot also. I do so much like the look of the Bonnies. I am really looking forward to riding it.

No I did not sit on that one but I’ll make sure to do that. I’ll drive the t-100, the SE, and the triple. That should cover it. Then I’ll see what I think. Maybe they will be redeemed in my mind once I ride it.

I am used to sitting more upright I guess.

I think that bike, on paper, sounds like not a bad deal.
