I recall reading some days back a post by a woman who was worried on weight of bike in reference to her upper body strength, at the time I didnt think much about it- but yesterday on my way home I ws turning left at a light- my book got caught on the peg as I was slwly entering the turn, anyway, I had to put my foot down but it stuck and the bike started to wobble over- luckily I got the foot there but had to use all my upper body strength to hold the bike and right it- it weights 400 pounds- so I suppose this is some note to anyone who is looking to start out that should be matched to what you can right from a side lean position-
I also had 4 cars pull right out in front of me, as the weather gets nicer folks get more careless be careful!May 28, 2008 at 2:53 pm #6768ShannonGParticipantThat sucks! I was watching youtube video on the weekend on the proper way to pick up my bike off the ground. I haven’t had any drops since the first one, but I know it happens to the best of us.

Cheers

There’s a million, but they all basically show the same thing.
