Shoei X-14 Motorcycle Helmet Review. The defining feature of this helmet for me is the cost. Depending on where you buy it and what color scheme you get you could be paying upwards of $600+. This is just under 200 dollars more than the RF-1200 which comes in at $450. Is the extra cost worth it? Read full review or check out specs and pricing.

The Full Range of Shoei Motorcycle Helmets (for 2018)
Shoei RF-1200 - The Icon
It is no secret that one of our favorite all around helmets is the RF-1200. We’re not the only ones either because any Shoei RF1200 review you read is glowingly positive. The RF-1200 is the latest generation in the famous Shoei premium full-face motorcycle helmets category. It is light, compact, safe and packed with cool features. It is a perfect everyday helmet. We love the face shield and Quick-Release Self-Adjusting base plate system (Shoei makes the best in the business). Wind noise is controlled very well and it also makes the helmet super comfortable. Designs and styles are plentiful with over 45 colors, styles and looks available in the 2018 range.
Shoei Neotec - Modular Perfection
The Shoei Neotec is a solid modular helmet. With well designed “flip-up” function, this is a very versatile helmet that we enjoyed wearing. The shape is very aerodynamic and we love the shell-integrated spoiler thats looks cool and works really well. Wind noise is a non-issue with what Shoei calls their integrated chin bar “Vortex Generator” lip. The fog-resistant system in the Neotec came in handy in New York last fall when we tested the helmet. Speaking of the fall, we’re massive fans of the fully removable, washable, adjustable, and replaceable interior system. It is comfortable day to day and being able to clean it and have a “fresh helmet” made all the difference. Design wise Shoei currently has about ten designs and colors you can choose from in the Neotec range.
Shoei X-14 - Racing Weapon
This is a serious race helmet, designed to save you tenths on a track. Track certified by the fastest riders in the moto-racing world the X-Fourteen is a proven race helmet you can count on. The X-14 has been tested, tuned, optimized and honed to be the perfect racing companion. There are twenty colors and styles to choose from and being a racing style helmet they are really cool color combos that look super aggressive.

It’s one thing to be a great-looking helmet, but quite another to also boast the functionality and performance to put a smile on any rider’s face.
Touted as a “Universal Touring Helmet,” the Shoei Qwest Motorcycle Helmet was built with a focus on light weight, comfortable fit and minimal noise levels to bring a new level of comfort for those long rides. The Qwest Helmet offers a slightly round oval internal shape, a vent configuration which flows tons of air in an upright touring position and is 1.2DB quieter than the RF-1100 Helmet.
