Participantit isint realy much of a road only a 1mi. dead end, but it’s private and has almost no traffic so it makes a great place for some lowspeed practice…

Participantfor all these reasons i have yet to ride alone, i ride in a group of at least 4 bikes and up to 8, it really seems to help keep cars from pulling out in front of u. a group of bikes makes for a larger visual image than 1 by itself causing ppl to take more notice. groupe riding is imposable sometimes though. once i gain some street riding experience ill ride alone as well.

Participanti’d hold it 4 u, but i’m not a bike salesman either…i h8 the feeling of something being so close but just out of reach…drives me nuts! i hope they hold it 4 u tho.

Participantu can never b 2 cautious when it comes to something that could get u hurt if not done properly!
I have quite a bit if time in on dirt bikes and quads, mostly race built ones that could get u killed real quick, and i feel comfortable with that level of performance, however when i bought my first streetbike recently i spent a LOT of time just geting the feel 4 the bike at slow speed…on a long priviate driveway with supervision no less. sounds 2 me like u have the right idea so learn it up take it slow and have fun!//@R!<

Participanti hit some cross wind the other day while riding and i noticed some shift in my lane position, i ride a Yamaha xj600s seca2, it weighs about 425 gassed up and i weigh about 240. a friend of mine rides a Yamaha roadliner 1900 cruiser that weighs about 600 and he weighs about 325, he was mentioning than he gets wind pushed fairly hard too. like above I’d say it’s an issue for all bikes and just something to take into consideration when riding, esp. certain times of the year.

ParticipantI just bought the bike 2 days ago and i went with the SECA. I went on a ride yesterday with my mom and her boyfriend and a bunch of his friends, who all mostly ride cruisers, the whole day was a blast! they tend to really take it easy with alot of rests and drink stops so it was a great first ride on the road, I also got alot of safety pointers.
thanks for everybody’s help with my decision, and I’ll be posting some pics up maby 2maro.

ParticipantI would go ahead and buy, just take it easy and start by practicing in a mt parking lot
