ok. the link you put in the src value only shows http://www.facebook.com, so you got the wrong url. You’ll know if you get the right url if you see, a .jpg at the end.

Shannon, if you can right click on the image you want to paste and do copy image address (or whatever it is in your browser) and paste it into the reply, I can tell you how to paste images inline in your posts.
The basic gist is to add this code into your post:
<img src="this will be the image address(ex. http://blah/img.jpg) you got from right clicking on the image and doing copy image address" />
and make sure you keep the double quotes around the url.

afaik, going with the flow of traffic isn’t a problem. My buddy was doing fine on the highway with me doing between 70 – 85 mph on his 07 ninja 250. I think the only issue might be going the flow of traffic and needing to get a boost to do a quick pass of another vehicle… I have no idea what i66 or i95’s like. Most of my riding has been on 101, 237, 92, 880, 680, 237, 580… basically just the bay area…

Slick! Yeh, looking forward to see more pics after you get everything put on.
I’m also noticing the road behind your house looks like it might be fun to ride…

I’ve been guaging mine and it’s average for what other sv650 owners have reported. I get about 150 miles before the fuel indicator blinks which at that time there’s about ~1 gallon left in the tank. From there I can estimate that it’s around the high end of the mpg scale advertised, ~50 mpg (4.2 gallon tank). I’ll not push it to the solid fuel indicator light but just find a gas station when the light’s blinking .

Does Canada do a tiered license thing with moto licenses? AFAIK, here in the .us those 125 street bikes aren’t available directly in the .us (or dealers just don’t stock ’em). I don’t really know, but I would imagine this might be because of tiered licensing…

No written test? In Cali-lala-land, the MSF just gets you out of the DMV riding skills test. A motorcycle written test still needs to be done. And if you haven’t renewed your driver’s license in 12 months, a written driver test has to be retaken as well…
ShannonG, Congrats! Aren’t you picking up your bike sometime this week as well? Double feature! (-:
