Isn’t it funny how different locations have such different requirements? I live in WA state and all I had to do was take a 2 day class and I got my license.

No written test? In Cali-lala-land, the MSF just gets you out of the DMV riding skills test. A motorcycle written test still needs to be done. And if you haven’t renewed your driver’s license in 12 months, a written driver test has to be retaken as well…

Why yes I am picking up my bike this week. I need pharmeceuticals, I’m so freaking excited!
Here, you write a written test, and then you have the choice to sign up for a course or just ride with a supervisor. Then you have to take a road test before you get your official license.

There’s a written test in the class. The only thing I had to go to the DMV for was to show them my certificate that said I passed and get my new license.

Yeah… The MSF here does a written test too that you have to pass, but it doesn’t exempt you from the DMV written test.
