ParticipantHard to say, but go for it.. you won’t find out how hard it is unless you try it.

ParticipantHow about putting your feet on the seat?
Does that raise the CoG of rider & moto?
While traveling at 30 mph, imagine which is more stable:
Sitting atop of a 12 ft. ladder or
standing 2 steps down from top of 12 ft. ladder..

This is cheating, a photo I found:http://canyonchasers.net/gallery/rdmrds/ouray01
Photo you found has no bike in it… you might as well drive to that location and take a picture.
Photoshop-ed picture is just lame…

ParticipantLess comments, more pictures.. even if pictures are not acceptable, at least posters would learn how the game is played to proces when they participate, rather than just post comments about the game.
What’s so difficult about that?
Current tag: bike with a snow capped mountain..
In northern hemisphere, that’s going to be difficult, seems like a somewhat unreasonable tag IMO, since when the mountain is capped or covered with snow, not much motorcycler riding is done.

ParticipantJust post a pic already..

ParticipantAt 6’3″, you might want to consider something with more room than ER-6N, wide handlebar, good amount of suspension adjustment. ER-6N has a great engine, but the ergo doesn’t seem ideal for a tall person, it feels little cramped even for me at 5’10”.

ParticipantI havn’t ridden the newer, aluminum framed WR250X, but from what I heard they are a blast.. both of my bikes are full on dirst bikes, one’s made street legal (KLX300) and the other (WR450F) is not.
KLX250 ha been around for a while, good solid workhorse of a bike, probably not as refined as the WR250X.
Depending on your budget, if the WR is too spendy, look for a used dual sported KTM from the mid-00’s.

ParticipantNo picture, no new tag.
The idea is to ride some place interesting or you’ve never been, take picture of your bike at the location and post the picture in the thread for someone else to try and duplicate similar picture elewhere else.

ParticipantJust post what you can get with your bike.. then ride to another location for you next tag picture, specify your chriteria and post the picture.

ParticipantI just leave my helmet and jacket over the handlebars, they do have their own special aroma or personal persperation mixed dead insect carcasses; with that usually keep most wonderer away from my moto.

ParticipantAFAIK, there is no age criteria for being a squid… nor a poseur..

ParticipantB-king seems too much for anyone, when you can exceed the speed limit in first gear without hitting the rev-limiter, that’s when you know it’s overkill for anyone.. but that probably goes for most modern motorcycles.
