ParticipantHaha…I rode this morning and with wind chill like 34 degrees. Yes I noticed I tend to go faster trying to reach destination. My fingers were the main problem. They started to hurt from possible frost bite. I too palmed my throttle, attempting to wiggle my fingers.
I just cant believe a good pair of winter gloves cost so much
I need to find my old Army winter gloves and see if they work….

ParticipantYa too bad..I’m 35..
It was the Ducati demo ride. You can sign up to ride the new bikes. That was the Ducati line. They had one for Kawasaki, Harlyey, and Yamaha as well.

ParticipantSounds too much trouble…guess I’ll pass on this mod, though it still looks cool LOL

ParticipantYup – cagers are bad at tailgating when you are doing the speed limit. Part of it is because there is a stygma of motorcycles always speeding….idk
Sangria7
ParticipantYea – I would definitely remove the tires and block it up. That way it cant be taken so easily.
Then chain the whole thing to a support pole or a permanent fixture. I doubt a civic would have a hitch ready to pul that thing anyways.
Lastly you can remove the hitch assembly portion.

ParticipantI love taking my bike for my 70 mile roundt trip commute….even today when it was like low 40s. My hands were freezing cause with wind chill it was more like mid 30s.
I envy those with short commutes…and its not lame..cause I wish mine was that short
I didnt use my bike until I completed my MSF course, as there was so much to learn from it.

ParticipantElwood,
Thats a great idea…
Creates a permanent parking space that is caged!!!
Sangria7
ParticipantMunch,
You always have good points. LOL
Research time!!Sangria7
ParticipantBoth..K&N air filter, more air to breath for the bike, and better throttle response. From what I read adds 7-9HP. I think it just looks cool LOL
Sangria7
ParticipantLOL – you know what they say – “the heart wants what the heart wants”
Sangria7
ParticipantSo no one has experience with these?
