here is the page by itself
Sangria7ParticipantOK just go to the main page then http://www.thunderroadstexas.com
click on the magazine cover link and go page 36Sangria7ParticipantSangria7ParticipantI got the Dobeck TFI – just plug and play model. $225! You mean the Led lamps in the front? I took them off and will be putting new ones on.
What do you mean by “luxury of fix-a-flat”? Its just the can of fixaflat from walmart.
Sangria7ParticipantSangria7ParticipantOn the tank one side is an angel woman and then other side is devil woman
Sangria7ParticipantSangria7ParticipantThanks WB, and congrats as well for 11K on the upcoming year. Its good to know there are people out there riding their bikes
As for color scheme, I put white racing stripes on mine and did a custom playboy theme, since there were so many girls on her this year!!
Sangria7ParticipantI have the CL-15 and I would rate it as an “ok” helmet. Compared to many other helmets that I owned, it is bulky, noisy, and the ventilation is minimum. I agree with Weapon, that the FS10 is a better helmet overall – but in the end you will be deciding whats better for you.
Sangria7ParticipantLOL @ Ben.
Windshield is a Memphis Shade Hellcat. Its suppose to mount straight up and down, but inverted the mounting arms and raked it forwards against the headlight. It works great and looks good.
Sangria7Participant1. Respect the bike.
2. Know your limitations.
3. Going fast is cool but not cool when you crash.
4. Be extra defensive riding – “act like your invisible” rule applies
5. Practice in the parking lot every chance you get.
6. Be patient with your learning curve, the bike, and yourself.Sangria7ParticipantOK here they are
Sangria7ParticipantYou know I was considering the Piaggio in the future as my standard commuter. How are you liking it?
Sangria7ParticipantLOL I wouldn’t say lucky….Rebel 250 and Vstar650 were the first two. But I am really enjoying the M50. 800CC feels just about right for handling wise and power. I love the fact that is uses the same EFI as the GSXR though.
I will be adding the Dobeck TFI pretty soon. They are building the very first unit for my bike and should be done next week.
