Kidding. Figured that would get a response.
Ninja GrinsParticipantCome on now, the 07 and older 250’s and 500’s are about the coolest looking bikes around.
Ninja GrinsParticipantThen an 08 it is.
Ninja GrinsParticipantYou answered your own question friend. Take it nice and slow until you get used to bike. You might get the hang of it right away, but if takes awhile that’s fine too. Just remember, you can twist the throttle forward and well as backward. Good luck and have fun.
Ninja GrinsParticipantWelcome!! I agree with Megaspaz. The Ninja 250 is not only lighter, it’s just a kick to ride! For what it’s worth I think you’d enjoy it more than you realize. If you don’t mind me asking, why don’t you like Kawasaki bikes?
Ninja GrinsParticipantStick with the 250 man. I don’t think many riders actually “outgrow” a 250. They just think they have. I’ve got an 08 250 and it’s a blast to ride! It’s not the fastest bike out there, but it has plenty of power.
Ninja GrinsParticipantMy wife rides on my 250 with me and the bike does fine. Obviously it effects handling, acceleration, etc., but the bike has plenty of power.
Ninja GrinsParticipantMy wife rides with me sometimes and the bike handles the two of us just fine. Acceleration is a little slower, but nothing you can’t live with.
