That’s a comparison of sizes between brands. It doesn’t take into account the particular shapes that companies cater to though. So it’s still a crapshoot.

200 miles isn’t that long, imo. I’ve done 300 mile rides for the hell of it just riding around the bay area. Things I would bring though:

small first aid kit.
tire patch kit.
small set of tools.
bottles of water.
snacks. You can wear an open face helmet and snack on bugs. They’re high in protein.
cigarettes.
cell phone.
coins for a payphone in case you’re traveling in an area that has no coverage
a real map in case gmaps is wrong.
cash for those places still living in the stone age and haven’t heard of debit/cc cards.

Along with that, try to find out the weather forecast and bring the appropriate gear/covering/clothes.

Yeh. Also even if it does have an image file name, like the kind photobucket uses, if the URL is like a script url (domain.com/blah.cgi?img=foo.jpg) the software won’t know what to do with it either. Basically use the right click on the image and do a copy image address to make sure the img tag works.

Do you live in california by chance? California models tend to run leaner than the other 49 states due to its environmental regs. So if you’re cutting that much off the muffler, you might be running really lean and might need a remap.

There is something wrong with the forums and inlining images.

What I see above is the first is nothing.
The second is an outline of an image, but nothing.

That list is incomplete. Clicking the Ducati and Suzuki link, I found they were missing recent important recalls. The ducati had a recall of certain batches of 848/1098 this year (2009) for voltage regulator and suzuki had a recall earlier this year (2009) for their gsxr600(???) for frame weakness.

I’d recommend searching for your bike @ http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/ instead. For you people in other countries, if you have a similar government body, find it and use it.
