ParticipantThanks for the comment. I tend to lurk a lot on forums and post only occasionally.
I agree… it’s always hit and miss, but I’ve had some pretty good luck on tight forums such as this one. I’ve bought off of forums before and have had great experiences. I can normally get a feel for if someone is BSing me or not.
I’d be fine with chatting with someone over the phone as well, if they’re rather do that, but I’m reluctant to give my phone number on a forum, so if you want that, shoot me an email. I guess I could give out my ebay name (scott8121) for people to look up somewhere for a reference, too. If anyone is in the Denver, CO area and would like to meet face to face, I could do that too.
Just throwing it out on this forum to start since there tends to be people on this forum that actually are into their gear almost as much as the motorcycles themselves.

ParticipantOh, one note about my Pazzo levers. I found a place that engraved the inside of the clutch lever before shipping them (the brake is already engraved with the Pazzo logo). So, my lever has ‘Scooter’ engraved on it (a nickname of mine). Just a nice little personal touch
Let me know how you like yours

ParticipantBeautiful bike! Congrats!

ParticipantYou’ll really like the Pazzo short levers. I didn’t think it’d really make much difference, but I was surprised as to how much better they feel over the stock levers.

ParticipantThanks for all of the comments!
I’ve since been working on adding some upgrades to the bike. Once I get everything put on, I’ll post some more pics
I hate waiting for packages to arrive…
Oh, and I added/swapped in a new piece of gear. I picked up a Teknic Freestyle jacket. Love it so far

ParticipantThanks for the comments, guys.
Ben, to answer your question, yes, my thighs swish a lot… it doesn’t appear that they had fixed this issue in the version that I have. Interesting comments on the jacket riding up. Mine does the exact same thing, and it’s very frustrating. I have been looking into a different jacket for that reason. My other option is to sew the jacket zipper on to the pants, or vice versa since they both came with zippers with the mating end attached that you could sew to a piece of clothing that was not by the same company.
Have you found any pants that have caught your eye to replace the overpants in hot weather?

ParticipantIf it helps at all, I have the FirstGear HT II Textile Overpants. I’ve been very happy with them. They zip all the way up the sides, making them easy to take on and off, and they have a removable liner for when it’s colder out. Overall, they are great, quality overpants.

ParticipantI don’t think that a 500-650cc cruiser is too much bike, but it’s really up to you. Go find a bike that is comfortable to you. Visit a lot of dealerships and sit on the bikes… you’ll get a good feel for what you like/dislike about different bikes that way. Good luck in your search!
