Shell’s best and military spec, suitable for mixed Diesel and Gas fleets. T stands for Tungsten additive and results in improved heat dissipation. Never hurt anything I’ve owned, although I have no experience blending it with other oils, that sounds too much like a chemistry experiment for my liking.

add: Inspect, clean or replace the air filter element and replace the front fork oil, because I bet it has never been done.
    Good Deal.

db regulations are written into the competition rule book and must be there for the environment and/or to defer the wrath of neighbors against the sanctioning organization. I’m good with it because I don’t like noise for noise sake anyway, might even be the only guy in history to replaced my BMW muffler with an OEM part, because the original became too loud.

On the subject of road debris; heart felt condolences to our riders in Detroit, I rode there a few times and had to swerve to avoid everything from a picnic table to a baby stroller ( non-occupied I believe ;)

    …i knew that
The badder english ending in a hyperlink was a giveaway ;) Had to add my 2 cents because just this past weekend I witnessed a two up H-D pulling away from the gas pumps with the fairing stereo blasting out hurtin music and the riders wearing 2 way intercoms, it made me wonder why he bothered to fit the bike with extra loud exhausts and just a little angered with the impression they were conveying for motorcycles to the general public.
And to think I can’t compete out in the woods with a bike that exceeds 100db measured six inches from the tail pipe ! BTW Munch, I’ve seen a week old bike with a length of fence wire wrapped around the sprocket.

Was out with a few friends yesterday, practicing and preparing new sections for the National Trial I’m hosting near Arden on August 22nd. I can’t wait to show you pictures of the new rock face we cleared. Jonathan English is the first and only rider to have ridden it so far and it’s roughly twice as high as the one pictured here, so high and vertical that no one has climbed up or down on foot. Truly astonishing what these motorcycles can do with a skilled rider on board and I highly recommend you spectate an event if you get the chance.
As tradition dictates; being the first one to ride it, the new rock face will be named ‘Jonathan’

Not sure I agree with all points in that article, but the hint on carrying a little more speed is right on. Same applies to riding on rocky river beds. But; “Off-road riders hug the fuel tank with their legs to better feel and control the bike.” Not since I was a kid …gripping the tank on a Beta Evo would be like trying to hold a pencil between your knees. and; “use the rear brake only” …maybe on a flat track or speedway bike, I one finger my front brake thx.

Nice bike on your avatar Max, are the mufflers on the other side ?:|

is the guy who dumps his bike in a river crossing, takes the time to get some photographs of his drowning motorcycle before getting it upright, only to return to his toxic spill bike and discover it wont start because the engine is full of water.

Rider size is only one factor, others things to consider are; type of road or off-road use you are likely to have access to or desire to ride, dealer support in your region and budget.
In general motorcycles with wider, handlebars and mid-way mounted foot pegs are best starter bikes as they offer the most comfortable and stable riding stance.

a quick Google of ‘Pakistan Motorcycle’ images and videos would suggest, we here in Canada could not possibly relate to the motorcycle scene in Pakistan Madjak It appears that country has very liberal traffic laws, highly skilled riders and a shortage of helmets, riding gear and license plates. I have never seen anything like that done on a motorcycle here.

    Geek
One definition is: “a carnival performer who does wild or disgusting acts”
…I witnessed 2 riders pulling wheelies to see who could lick their front fender, they must qualify.

Just finished the first CMA National Trial today, it was a total mud-fest near Ohsweken Ontario, slime hills and slick logs everywhere with scarcely a rock in sight, not my favorite seeing as I love to ride rock, but I did manage to slide home with a Gold in the old guy class :(=)
BTW Congrats to Jordan Szoke for taking 1st place Expert today with an exceptional score given the conditions. Too bad he didn’t fair near as well with piloting that motorhome off the level field after the event.
Great time had by all and many thanks to Steel City Riders Motorcycle Club for hosting and marshaling todays event.

Hard as anything to come by, the sport is popular in Spain, Italy, UK and apparently catching on in Japan. Dealerships are extremely rare and many of the bikes are Distributed directly to Rider/Resellers that actively compete in the sport. Modern Trials bikes all start out as single purpose machines intended for the purpose and only a few Vintage Trials bikes were modified from street or enduro bikes. The only mods required to a straight from the crate Trials machine is to remove the horn, lights and engine restrictors that are sometimes installed, strictly for the purpose of export regulations.

That is identical to my bike, except his had a fake tank and seat added.
