RydRyParticipantgood point! real bikers….arent them
RydRyParticipantId say the above question is great- but be aware that many dealers dont discount- you may ask if you can get something on gear or service- I know wth the gas prices etc that sales are amazing so they almost dont need to on many of the nicer brands- harley mostly doesnt, ditto bmw, triumph
RydRyParticipantI just had to add as uncle says- 500 is even on the lowside- youll need all the things all the time as he and all say- so think boots, pants, jacket gloves helmet- I went inexpensive and spent 700 with newenough and ms- I have to say newenough ships so fast and is very personable, whereas motorcyclesuperstore ships wayyyy slow (unless you pay insane amounts for express) and they are a large store that doesnt seem personal- but again local is always better!
RydRyParticipantwow aprilla too! no that is a bike I hear wonderful things about!
congratsRydRyParticipantyes indeed cohesive yet altogether catatonic? it seems like there are more riders here than I have ever seen- I pass about 25 riders each morning amazingly- but I suppose one is not the uncle!
RydRyParticipant87 is amazing- I havent heard of too many getting htat- I suppose its a 250cc? Ive noticed on the 650 getting 45-50 which seems average and also is still vey good- I wonder exactly how that works as some folks add the final 1 gallon resrve into their calculations but I usually base it on what I went and how much i put in so like 100 miles and filled up 2 gallons then 50mpg
RydRyParticipantthat seems too extreme for me- I think Ill just practice practice and more- I did it again today and this is after 1,000 miles on the bike in 12 days
RydRyParticipantcongrats and thanks for the details!
which bike did you get?RydRyParticipantjust a big thanks again man- Im sure its a ton of work to keep it going
RydRyParticipanttonight I looked them up at Barnes and noble and the idiots guide to motos says HIGHLY RECOMmENDED for beginners!!!! ha go figure!
RydRyParticipantI saw those guys too and I love tha llok and seems like theyve been around forever in britain and India- and not a bad price- talk about a real classic! its so retro it isretro
RydRyParticipantyeah haaa now I am absolutely fanatic about it but i guess that is best
