JakeParticipant
Honda trail 70, topped out at thirty miles an hour, three speed, no clutch. Still have it too!
JakeParticipantDefinately start on the 500, the lighter the better when you are starting out. You can always move up form a smalller bike,
JakeParticipantwhatever you do, start with a smaller displacement bike, 500 or less, you won’t regret it
JakeParticipantBen is right, just ease off the throttle when you pull in the clutch. When you don’t let off the gas and let the lever fly it could zing the clutch too, which isn’t good. Just work on letting off the throttle when the clutch is disengaged and you’ll be okay. Maybe you are trying to shift too fast?
