On my way to work every morning I have to drive through a huge parking lot to get to my work.. So I’ve been making a point to find an empty corner and just do figure 8’s and tight circles on my 650.. It actually seems a bit easier on the 650 in the fact that it doesn’t feel like my bike is going to stall when I take the turns slow.. On the 250 I was riding in the class I always felt like the engine wanted to die on me when I slowed it too much…

That’s really the best thing you can do.. Sit on as many bikes as possible.. Even ask the sales person to help hold the bike so you can get your feet up on the pegs and get a proper feel for how you’ll be riding the bike…

Vtwin tiring from vibrations? Hmm.. Only if it says Harley Davidson on the tank… I love the way my V-Star rides.. Very smooth.. Haven’t taken it more than 80 miles in one day.. But other than my butt a lil sore from the stock seat, not too bad..

I have to use it every day when I come home.. I live on a dead end street and have to u-turn to park in front of my house.. Still putting my foot down but getting better at it.. Haven’t dropped it yet…
