yea believe me, I’m going to wait until I’m absolutely comfortable on the bike before I even think about taking her, but one of the points i made to her when convincing her i should get a bike was that she can occasionally ride with me. I wouldn’t do anything crazy with her because she gets scared enough in a car lol.
calsikParticipantThanks for the welcome. Funny you say that because I had already posted this in the general section but thought it might be rude not to introduce myself lol. And Elwood was the first to respond to my post in the general section lol. Denver is awesome. I love it. I grew up in Albuquerque and I like it just much if not more. There’s tons of great things to do and beautiful things to see all year round and very close. I cant wait to actually get a motorcycle and take it on some of the mountain roads and back ways. Moving from Phoenix will for sure get a you change in climate but its not at all that bad. It snow a bit in the winter but everyone works through it (much to my surprise, there is rarely a “snow day”).

I have been looking at the SV650 and dual sports a lot more. I’ve heard the SV ride position is slightly hunched which i’m not sure i would like. I still have to actually shop around and sit on some bikes so this all can change. oh yea, i’ll be taking the BRC within the month before i actually buy a bike.
