I’m a beginner – just have about 600 miles under my belt – and started with the 600 because I reasoned that it won’t allow me to get into too much trouble. For the first year or so of riding, I didn’t want a more powerful bike because I don’t know how to handle it yet. I’m very happy with it so far.
