For those of you who do your own maintenance, which jack or stand have you found works best? I’m only looking at doing minor maintenance (oil changes, chain, etc), and would appreciate any wisdom y’all have on this.

I found this one on a google – http://www.newenoughhp.com/track_garage/motorcycle_stands__lifts/heindl_engineering/cruiser_motorcycle_center_stand.html – and that’s kind of what I’m looking at, but don’t know how stable it is…? Also, with something like this, would it also be a good idea to have a rear/front wheel stand keep them from moving around?

    Now that’s funny right there!

    But, seriously…..

A center stand would be the best thing, imo. it’ll allow for rear wheel rotation for chain cleaning ( dunno though, mebbe a rear wheel stand will do the same thing) as well as keep the bike balanced on the center. If I can find any positive reviews to the one you just posted on, I might pick that up for myself as well…
