Fairly convenient.
yugen852ParticipantWelcome to the site. Honestly, I wouldn’t know what to recommend, but it would be better if you would post this on the ‘general’ section, since its the most viewed section. Hope you find the correct bike for you.

yugen852ParticipantWelcome!
yugen852ParticipantMaybe the man who threw the bicycle was jealous?
yugen852ParticipantWell see, if I keep it up like this, maybe I could do it :p. Ben should give him a BBM prize or something for reaching that high.
yugen852
yugen852ParticipantI don’t even know what I’m doing posting in the oldest Topic. Oh, would you look at that, 100 BBM points.
yugen852
yugen852ParticipantHahaha!
yugen852ParticipantGood luck on the MSF course!

yugen852ParticipantWell, sincerely, I haven’t read a law or something that says its illegal. I just heard the instructor in my bike class say it. He said that because the bike is lighter, if a trailer or one of those big ass trucks passes beside me, the turbulence could blow me upwards, or suck me under. I reeeeeeeeeeeally don’t want that to happen. I have read the many reports and tips on this website that a beginner should get a 250 bike, but if I can find a 500 sports bike, I will take it! It is a bit contradicting me saying that I would like a 500cc bike, since I have told some people here to get 250 bikes as a beginner. Its just that in my class I felt so comfortable riding, it was like a unknown talent. I even got to 4th gear riding controlled, for the first time on a bike.
A 250 would be nice, I don’t deny it, but a 500 would be more convenient in the long run.
Thanks everyone for your advice:
yugen852yugen852ParticipantI have heard the same thing, but instead of a potato, a cut onion. Thinking about it, it would be good for a cage, but with a helmet, you’d be crying all the way to your destination
yugen852
yugen852ParticipantDon’t worry about that, owlie. I am not like that anymore, but I was. The difference between you and me is that now I have basic cable and somewhat fast internet. I don’t own a blackberry, I have the cheapest cel with a pre-paid program I[don’t talk much on the phone]. It is tough not having access to technology, but hey, it isn’t too bad. Give it time and the stuff you need will appear.

yugen852ParticipantNice 500r. What year is it?
yugen852ParticipantThanks. I have considered getting a 500cc bike, at most, because of freeway riding. Its illegal to drive a 250 on them. But, it really isn’t necessary for all the roads are well connected and I can reach my destination fairly easy.
Thanks for all of your suggestions, guys.
yugen852
yugen852ParticipantWe have a website over here that’s like craiglist, and I can find sport bikes for as low as 1,300 dollars, and good bikes. Cruiser bikes, 660cc+ and from recent year models for as low as 1,900!
yugen852
yugen852ParticipantSafety First has a 250r. I saw a used ninja 250 that is also lime green and it is for sale very cheap!!! But, I still don’t have the money. I hope it sits there, on the guy’s garage, waiting for me… *sniff*
Be cool:
