Matter of fact, I just bought some Quixx at walmart last night and tried it out this morning. The scratches were deep enough that I had to use the 3000 grit sandpaper (wet of course). I was extremely worried about sanding past the clearcoat so I didnt use much pressure. After the I used the product according to the directions I definitely noticed a difference but you can still see the scratches. I will try to post before and after pics.

The word is on the top side of the tank about 4-5 inches back from the gas cap. The B is closest to the cap and the H is closer to the seat and I dont know if a tank bib will be wide enought to cover it. All of the ones I have seen are somewhat narrow. I will get some rubbing compound tommorow and give it a try. I live in a condo complex and have the only motorcycle in this particular parking area. I think it was maybe someone just some a-hole trying to be funny.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably go for a kryptonite 6ft. chain I saw on motorcyclesuperstore.com. It was pretty expensive at over $100 but got a ton of great reviews. It seems like this will hopefully do the trick as lowering the deductible would raise my insurance by well over $100 for a year of coverage. Still havent decided on the exact bike I want but leaning heavily towards the Ninja 650R which might put me around $7,000.

The turn gave me trouble during practice because there were no cones on the outside of the turn, so when approacing the turn and looking through it I couldn’t tell whhere the outside of the lane was. Messed it up about three times but nailed everything on the test except got -1 point for time. Maybe I went a little to slow on the turn. The box gave me a little trouble too but I found that as long as you turn your head all the way, it really isnt that hard. I was also 1 of 2 in my class that got 100 on the written. Now I just need to get some money saved up for my bike.

It comes down just past my beltline in front and two inches more in the back. Armpit is a little tight. Just got my gear but don’t have bike yet. Safety first right! My jacketMy jacket
