spiccnspamParticipant
Its not about the size but how you use it… Other then that sexual reference.
As long as your practice letting your motorcycle do the work for you then you don’t have to worry about shear strength. Learn how your bike works and you wont have to worry about your size.
spiccnspamParticipantBRO! 650 is still to big! I worked 3 jobs, 2 at the same time, 16 hour workdays and no social life to buy my first motorcycle, fully paid off, used and OLD! It was an XV535, little cruiser with just enough power to scoot my young self down the highway to school. It may not have been super american muscle or the sexiest bike in the world but do you know what makes it sexy? 1. I didnt ride it to school or show it to my friends until i fully mastered how drive it 2. I never make a fool out of myself riding it by acting like a D-bag, that means no revving when girls walk by, no attempts to pop wheelies in the parking lots, not doing stoppies at every stop, just smooth practiced riding without stalls or goofy maneuvers. 3. I respected it and never abused it, i knew that if i wanted to stay upright on that thing then i couldnt think that i was an indestructible badass riding a motorcycle and picking up chicks. Do you wanna know how many girls have ridden on my bike? ONE! MY MOM! Wanna know how many girls have asked to ride on my bike? Well i lost track a while ago but i knew that the instant i dropped my guard and stopped respecting it i knew i would die. Now Im practiced enough to ride my new gt650r and its a real monster compared to the XV. and it would be way to much for noob like yourself even though it is the super sex bike your looking for.
Treat it with respect and you might just find a new passion.
spiccnspamParticipantOnce i was riding home at night and something like a barn swallow smacked me right in the chest. Hurt so bad! it was like getting hit with a lacrosse ball at 40 mph! Even with my jacket on it left a big bruise.
spiccnspamParticipantits the siliest helmet ever without the jaw attachement, its a definite must.
spiccnspamParticipantI learned on the virago XV 535, its great for commuting and getting on the interstate. It will cover all of the bases and it looks SWEET.
spiccnspamParticipantdo you have a link to the picture? i havent seen it actually on anybody.
spiccnspamParticipantI would be like a space ranger or something.
spiccnspamParticipantCopyright stole it…
spiccnspamParticipantI just laughed for ten minutes imagining a terrible accident were two non-moving people killed each other in a horrible staring contest.
but in all seriousness, a car driver blaring his music and staring at an commotion is just as likely to bonk his cage into the back of an ambulance. Hell ive almost done that in my lame-o ford focus, also the overlooking of the multi-car pileup is pretty good. I think i will save this article in my “humorous news stuff” folder.
speed was not a factor.
spiccnspamParticipantwho wants to tell him there is no steering wheel…
spiccnspamParticipantI would go with the GS500 to start out and garage the katana and mainten it. After about 6 months of riding you could sell the 500 and start riding ur katana saying you will be a better rider then.
spiccnspamParticipantI saw one today, at first i thought they were kinda ugly on the website, but seeing one on the road next to me, it loooked pretty sweeeeeeeet. changed my opinion on them
spiccnspamParticipantwen ur starting to go, use just a bit more throttle before releasing the clutch, then u wont stall as easily although u will definitly start a bit faster then u want too.
spiccnspamParticipantits name is so beast.
spiccnspamParticipantIm thinking about just buying a less bulky jacket for wen im not gonna go on the highway and using the one i got now for the highway.
