15 bucks fill up, those were the days. I remember back in late 70’s the college days, round trip from Buffalo to Toronto was less than $10 gas with my Honda Civic 

BTW, we picked up our bike last nite. Although it is a 2004 model, the Bike looks new, less than 1200 mile. She starts easy. Only thing it bothers me a little hard to get into Neutral from first gear. Since I haven’t rode a MC for more than 40 years. Damn, the first gear is way too fast for me. ….. hahah. I don’t really want to fall on the side on the pavement, so I rode around our back yard lawn last nite. Actually it was 1 am when we get back home.

I need a lot of practice before to I can take it on the road. Can’t wait until I attend the MC safety class.

Thanks for the welcome. We have a 1/4 ton army trailer towing behind our Jeep. The weather looks good so far. We will ride the Jeep topless and doorless to pick our rebel. Can’t wait. I hope our Rebel will level the playing field in MPG for us. Our Jeep gets about 13MPG if we have tail wind behind us. :)
