Yeah the ninja’s are hard to find and the price on them is being jacked up because of demand, so im really looking at teh gs… also I will frequently ride highway and i don’t want to have to keep it pegged at like 9k to go 75-80… so its not really the best option.
I found a gs500f in my area, its a 2004 with 11k, 1 owner, well maintained and never dropped with a laundry list of mods… it looks pretty good! Is 2800 a good price? I thought so, my friend got his new and paid close to 7k OTD.
My dad has the CB400F in his garage if you want another one! lol! I got it running, got new mirrors, seat cover, tank and sidecovers painted color matched to the original varnish blue, carbs cleaned and re-synched, new tires… the only thing it needs is a new side stand and maybe a new 4 into 1 exhaust, its pitted and rusted. Anyways…
What I don’t understand is why more companies shy away from making more low cc bikes, like in the 300-500 range?!?!
Something that is capable of crusing on the highway but not overpowered.
