5% interest sounds pretty decent for a 5 year loan, and putting some cash down will definitely lighten up the monthly payments as well. I just passed my MSF course and getting my DMV test waived so I will be shopping around very soon.

Here in NY, the permit expires 1 year after the exam date. If you got you’re permit, it would state the expiration date on the card itself.

Oh damn that’s not good. I don’t know how deep in NJ you are, but if you’re willing to take a drive, check out Smart Rider, so far there are a few open courses. I’ll probably sign up this weekend for early June.
