hey i was wondering what side fairings fit on this bike?
like could i get the side fairings off a gsxr and it would fit?
also could someone point me in the right direction of where i could buy the fairings.
i would like my bike to look like this.

well then i have made up my mind on eliminating the zx-r6 from the list, since you and ben state this is far from a beginner bike.

i think im going to seriously look into/buy the sv650s/sv650sf
i sat on one on friday and was very impressed. theres hardly any speed difference, its just in the midrange power up to 100 and that doesnt really mean a thing anyways.
so theres no difference between the sv650s and the sv650sf besides the flaring?
the sv650s i was sitting on was a dark blue, the guy told me you could easily buy the bottom part flaring and close it up just like the F.
so thats the difference between the s and the sf? just the bottom flaring?

now you were saying the accelleration on the gsxr600 and such is like a jet turbine, so how is the accelleration on the sv650s compared to the gsxr? is the sv650s a way slower bike or is it just the same but the gsxr climbing speeds faster?
what is the differences between the two?
i went to a dealer today and say on a sv650s with abs it felt great.
i am leaning more towards this bike now.

i found that i dislike with the SV is the rear taillight black plastic assembly.
it makes the bike ugly
now i found this SV650S on ebay and it does not have that rear black plastic fender type blinker part
does this bike have the fender eliminator kit on it?

looking more into the SV650S, the picture on the suzuki site does not do justice.
looking on ebay i have found that the SV is a great looking bike and found a 06 with 345 miles for4k
so it is a really affordable bike.

i meant USED zx-6r

the price for the used ones are all over the map but currently i found a 06 with 1200 miles for 5000k and thats just 1 i seen on craigslist in my area.
sorry i did not specify exactly what i meant.
i cannot really see spending over 5500$.

after looking at the bikes i just cannot see myself spending money on a bike that i hate the looks of, the ninja 500 for instance. it looks like a old ninja 250 and i think there but ugly. im not going to spend my cash on a bike that looks that way.
i wish they would have done the ninja 500 over like they did the 250r. then id be sold.

so ive taken katana out of my list of bikes to check out.
so my list continues, zx-6r, 08 250r, and then??
i dont think id mind a sv650sf but the thing is that there kind of expensive.

Now ive also heard about suzuki katanas being more nimble bikes also, is this true?
