the Ninja was my son’s bike and I took it “in trade” when I financed his new bike. I had expected to get rid of it quickly and for a resonable price but that was in 2007
I also had an 06 Ducati 620 monster that went in a matter of weeks with 25% depreciation
I had an 02 Sportser that I paid $6400 for and sold in 2008 for $5200
I was not ready for such rapid depreciation on the Kaw
I’ll keep trying to find a buyer

$1.12 per mile depreciation or 50% in 2700 miles
I’ll stick with Triumph and BMW
my 1985 BMW cost $4200 new and is now worth $4500
my 1979 Triumph cost me $1200 new and is now worth $4000-$5000

2 year old kawasaki; new $5200 now worth $2500?

received 3 calls with low ball offers
I’ll ride it into the ocean before I take $2500 for it
maybe I’ll donate it for a tax write off

its the last Jap bike I’ll ever buy

if you have been ridding MX bikes you may not be happy with a “cruiser” :more show than go
45 mph may not be enough (Harley parade speed)
get a sport bike and ride it right
