AndrewParticipant
Got to love those IL roads. Nothing like roadwork season.
AndrewParticipantI lock the bike every time I park it. One thing new riders can do is forget to turn the ignition off so I lock it and know that the ignition is off. I live and work in safe areas but it’s good practice anyway. Mine is a push down and to the left. Just turns back when you want to unlock it. Never had a problem getting the key out.
AndrewParticipantI do wight training 3 days a week and I notice my clutch hand on the ride home.
AndrewParticipantNice one Budd. Don’t mess a Ninja they have strong kung-fu.
AndrewParticipantI think we would all like to be safer and stats can help. It would nice to see an updated version of the HURT report one of these days.
I wonder how many crashes involve riders who are commuting as opposed to the weekend riders.
AndrewParticipantI thought the same thing about the V-Star tank being really big.
AndrewParticipantThe problem with stats like these is that the population has increased in the same time period so it’s hard to know how the percentage of riders in the population compares with the fatalities.
AndrewParticipantThat’s the nicest looking Nighthawk I have seen.
AndrewParticipantNice constructive post. The original poster doesn’t ride a Ninja and the pre-2008 ninja’s all have front mounted turn signals that are big and obvious. Get your facts right first.
AndrewParticipantTTL = Tax, Title, Registration. ie the stuff you need for a car also.
AndrewParticipantI find the leg strength more useful with my Ninja as it turns so easily. It’s not that hard to move around on foot either.
AndrewParticipantNice. We need more small standards IMO.
AndrewParticipantYou could but some hooks or velcro for a cargo net but the one I have for my Ninja is big enough to cover the whole passenger seat.
AndrewParticipantIt may be plastic. I’ll have a closer look tonight.
AndrewParticipantAre you worried about groceries sliding around and tipping or do you secure them?
