ParticipantBought my first bike today… having it dropped off tomorrow (while i sit on the waiting list for the MSF). It’s the same bike that I learned on almost ten years ago. 1982 Honda Nighthawk CB650 SC. Just has its provincial inspection three weeks ago, and new rubber this spring. If anyone wants to know the full story leading up to the purchase, check :

ParticipantThat’s a good starter bike. Nice low seat, and slow by today’s standards. You should probably upgrade to braided steel brake line if you can find some to fit, or at least get new OEM lines. Check the rotors and pads carefully too. Most of all, have fun!

ParticipantMine has a similar issue. It always seems to be parked over someone else’s oil leak…….really like the OEM decals, 4-2 stacked pipes, I wish mine were still there. Thanks for the heads up on the NH group.
