Right now I’m an incoming freshman at Stephen F. Austin State University, but for the last couple of years I’ve been working at Putt-Putt, getting run over by little kids in go-karts.July 13, 2009 at 12:22 am #20540JtownJJAParticipant
I about laughed my head off when I saw your picture Amoryl!! I’m a mainframe Cobol programmer here for a major international Bank. Maybe you’ve heard of it. Our slogan is, hmmm, let me see if I can get it right…, Money’s what matters… We’re what matters…. Hiring people overseas and laying off Americans is what matters…. I can’t quite remember it, but you probably know who I’m talking about.
Let me cut to the CHASE, I got my 2-year associate degree in Computer Science right at the Y2K scare, and have been (for the most part) happily employed since. After working several years as a contractor, I started working where I am now as a FTE (Full-time employee) about 4 years ago. It’s pretty nice actually. I work from home 1 day a week, and when my 8 hours is over, I’m usually free to go home and spend the evening with my family.July 14, 2009 at 1:16 am #20576yugen852Participant

Hey, I bank with some company that rhymes with Mace…well, I’m glad that they care about my money as much as I do at least!
Plus, can’t beat those check deposits at ATM’s with the picture on the receipt…nice
