I think it would be interesting to see what people do for a living.
Me, I’m a Graphic Designer at ASU (as some of you might already know)
June 11, 2009 at 11:45 pm #19585MunchParticipantme …automechanic.if it’s in production at some point…I have likely worked on it… well under the $50K price tags anyway.
June 12, 2009 at 3:25 am #19596gsmurfetteParticipantI’m a student right now, but I was an helicopter mechanic in the CG. I’m working on my A&P to work on civilian planes, and then I’m going to flight school to be a helo pilot. So for now, I’m a mom I guess.
June 12, 2009 at 3:45 am #19600EliasParticipantImpressive! I got my Private’s License in Piper Warriors…fun little planes
June 12, 2009 at 4:12 am #19603gsmurfetteParticipantAwesome. I can’t wait for lessons to start, unfortunately, there’s something called money, and I don’t want to get a loan…..so the plan is to get the A&P, work until I got the 30G (that’s for commercial too), and go to ATP or Embry-Riddle. I’m going to transfer to ER next spring anyways. Then I’ll take on sky-diving…..I think I’m an adrenaline junkie!
June 12, 2009 at 4:23 am #19604EliasParticipantYeah I imagine that most people on BBM are adrenaline junkies…sounds like you have a good plan. Embry-riddle is a great school, I would have gone if I got more serious about comm flying
June 12, 2009 at 4:28 am #19606BenParticipantI’m a bicycle mechanic by day (always on 2 wheels!), and I do websites by night…

June 12, 2009 at 5:17 am #19615zeppelinfromledParticipantI’m a chemist. I’m currently doing research at a hospital, but I’ve been working my way into the field of forensics. Once people start hiring again, I’m looking to make the move.
June 12, 2009 at 3:49 pm #19636Clay DowlingParticipantWrite computer software by day. Build furniture and brew beer by night. And lately, binding books, which other than a difference in materials isn’t very different than building furniture. I even use all the same tools.
June 13, 2009 at 2:46 am #19680owlieParticipantI’m in finance.
June 13, 2009 at 11:50 pm #19699SantaCruzRiderParticipantOtherwise known as marketing for big Silicon Valley media company.
June 15, 2009 at 5:33 pm #19733MaxDadAKParticipantI’m an Ex Paratrooper with the 1-501st Task Force and now I’m in contract security for DHS. Basically all the responsibility of the police but only with federal contracts. Not a bad living though. Get to deal with all the crazies that assume that all their life’s problems are obviously inside federal buildings. I mean come on haven’t you seen X-Files?! It’s all a big conspiracy. I’m talking tin foil hats and all. If it’s not some one trying to blow me up while I’m driving down the road, or shooting at me from rooftops, it’s some local trying to stab me because I’m “The Man”
June 16, 2009 at 7:53 am #19774BenParticipantWe know about the UFO’s in roswell!!!! Damn the mannnnnnnnnn!
haha

June 17, 2009 at 2:20 pm #19847ranetteParticipantMy wife and I quit our typical urban jobs, mine in computer sales and consulting, hers as an attorney, to clean toilets and flip omelets. We moved to Vermont and purchased a country inn.
June 18, 2009 at 10:18 am #19893eternal05ParticipantI was a software engineer for a while, but I’ve since gone back to grad school. I’ll be back in the workforce in about 6 months.
