Hey guys, wanted to get some feedback from you regarding the Vulcan.
Its a really beautiful bike and I think it would fit my size (5′ 11″ and 270lb) well. What do you guys think?June 1, 2009 at 3:41 pm #19149
I had one….5″10′ 18o you shouldn’t have any worries for it. Might give scootworks a look though for accesories like forward foot controls and such…. not sure how your legs are as far as length. I didn’t need emJune 1, 2009 at 3:46 pm #19150

Just bought one about 3 weeks ago. Love it. I am 6′ even and 230 pounds.June 2, 2009 at 4:24 am #19184
how does it handle, is it heavy?
and how crazy is this, are all NC boys vulcan fans?June 2, 2009 at 4:43 am #19187EddiepowerfmParticipant
You can add a Texas boy to the Vulcan 500 list. I have had my 2007 for 11 months now. It is my first bike and it handles great. I weigh about 167 and only bench, well if I can handle it I know you can too.
Keep Rockin!June 2, 2009 at 5:09 am #19189

wow , thats a beauty you got thereJune 6, 2009 at 12:52 am #19403AtlAggieParticipant
The ’09 Vulcan below is my 2nd bike. I put 2,000 training miles on a Rebel first.
Since I had not been on a bike in 30 years, I’m glad I did some time on the smaller bike first. With that said, I LOVE the Vulcan. I wouldn’t be surprised if I keep it a long time without feeling any need to “move up”.
