I read an article in the February issue of Bike magazine (uk rag) where they tested the new ABS system on Honda’s CBRR 600 and 1000cc bikes. If I remember correctly they brake tested bikes with and without the system and without fail the ABS bikes stopped quicker. These are guys who ride fast bikes all day for a living, are generally disdainful of stuff that gets in the way of showing of their skills but they had nothing but good things to say about ABS (at least on these bikes). If it’s good enough for them then it’s good enough for me.
Sport Rider, Motorcycle magazine, Two (UK), Performance Bikes (UK), and MCN (UK) all did similar comparos and were in agreement: working ABS beats human every time.
