I don’t know why they bothered banning mobile phones while driving. You don’t need to, because it’s common sense that you shouldn’t be doing something else when you’re concentrating not hitting something/someone.

Have to disagree there. I see so many people doing things other than paying attention while driving, and phones are only 1 of them, that it’s obviously not common sense.
