Hello!

I just started seeing this last night and I’m not sure if it is on your end or my ISP’s. When I first get to the forums front page, the last post shown hasn’t updated since what I posted last night, but as soon as I log in, I can see that there are new posts in a couple of the forums.

I took a couple screen shots, but I don’t have time to upload them right now. If you want me to email them to you this evening, drop me a line.

Yeah that is on purpose actually, I have it so the website generates static HTML pages for everyone who isn’t logged on to help with the server bandwidth. As soon as you login you are accessing everything from the database which gives up to the second updates. Not an error, but you have a keen eye Owlie! Hoooo hoooo!!

That is a pretty cool function. For the people who are just casually perusing the site, it isn’t a big deal if they can’t see the latest post. For the rest of us, just log in like always to get our fix.

Ok…..adding the option to format the posts and replies with colors is a good one…. now if it would just translate from the typed post to the final product after saving it.

So, I just put in my first picture under the new system.  I’m not sure that the display size option is working.  The pictures are saved as 800×600, but I thought that I put in 400×300 for the display size.  It looks like they are displaying in 800×600 size though.

Also, can I check for myself what I put in for those options?  Or would I just have to strip it out and put it back in if I think I made a mistake?

I’m not sure if this is related, as I’m new to the website, but it seems like no matter how I set up the preferences in my account, I get a ton of email each day from the website and it doesnt seem to matter if I am subscribed to a thread or not or if I uncheck all the settings?  I don’t want to mark BBM as spam mail?  can someone help me?  Maybe its a web error.

I double checked your subscriptions and unsubscribed you to all the other threads you were previously subscribed to. See if this helps, if not please reply so I can figure out what else is wrong. Thanks Bob!
